Satay is grilled meat starter dish (Hors D'oeuvre) from South Asia. It is famous dish form street to 5 Star Hotels. It is Skewered and grilled meat served with rich Peanut Sauce. This is popular in countries like Netherlands, Malaysia, Suriname, Singapore, Brunei, Thailand, Philippines and more. I have eaten it in Five star restaurant in my city. It is a Delicious starter I have tested ever. So let's begin. Happy Republic Day to our readers. On the occasion of Republic Day let's enjoy this delicious recipe.
Although both Thailand and Malaysia claim it as their own, its Southeast Asian origin was in Java, Indonesia. There satay was developed from the Indian kebab brought by the Muslim traders. Even India cannot claim its origin, for there it was a legacy of Middle Eastern influence.
